Geoff Blake, with his casual and off-beat style, is an expert educator in all graphics and web technologies ... not to mention one of macProVideo's most entertaining trainers!
CSS is the technology that powers most websites. Dreamweaver's implementation of this technology is by far the most comprehensive on the market. The power of CSS lies in its ability separate the look, feel, and function of a website from it's content. This gives a ton of flexibility, control and ultimately ease of use for any web designer.
Imagine designing one set of rules and aesthetics that all pages of a complex website follow. With CSS you design it once and all of your site's features "cascade" automatically throughout all of the pages.
Geoff Blake, the ultimate communicator, takes you through every aspect of how CSS works, exploring all of its intricacies and implementation... And he does it in his trademarked friendly and inventive way! You'll have so much fun that you won't even realize that you're being educated! That's what makes our "Professor" Blake so inspiring!
So if you're looking to learn how to design your websites using Dreamweaver's CSS technology then sit down, get a front row seat and fasten your seat belt tight because this tutorial will quickly take to where you need to go. Enjoy the ride!

Very good instructor. Dreamweaver is a very good software program. I have been using an older version that the one used in these tutorials. The new features make some things easier to do.

This was another good course on CSS> I am using Dreamweaver CC and it is a newer version than the one used in this tutorial. A little different to use when adding new css styles and modifying them but the concept is the same. Nice tutorial.

Having had some trouble getting to grips with Dreamweaver and C SS. I really found this tutorial by Geoff Blake completely grabbed me on another level. His teaching style causes you to actually become excited at learning the program. Makes it so easy to follow and grasp. I wish this had been out in my earlier days. Up and running with Dreamweaver on a new level. Best buy I've made.

I am not a web designer though I have built a few sites. I can make some things happen in Dreamweaver but was never able to get a grip on making a layout the way I want it. Seeing Geoff in this tutorial made it all come together. I now see it as a usable tool I can create with instead of a stringent set of rules that require me to become a programmer type to utilize. My first site after watching this as well as the "Floating Layouts" tutorial was far better than anything else I had done. My favorite thing about this tutorial is that I saw Geoff use it like you would use a tool to carve a sculpture, you can try this or try that and see how it works. I didn't know there was so much freedom to experiment. It opened my eyes to it being about logic mixed with creativity.
