When I first encountered Matthew Loel T. Hepworth I was blown away. I have Cubase 12 and use a PC and I still learned tons from Matt's series using a Mac and Cubase 5. I am going to watch all the Cubase videos from 5 up because you will learn all the new things that were included with every upgrade in Cubase plus the repetition of similar things will help me refresh it all. Thanks Matt and Ask Video. I'd be lost without you.

I am starting out with Cubase Elements 8 and was finding it hard to get a good basic understanding of how and why things work the way they do. Even though this course is based on Cubase 5 and is therefore somewhat different from my own, the broad operation and logic of Cubase remains unchanged and I can't imagine any other instructor being anywhere near as good as Matt in helping me to understand how to use Cubase to best effect. This is an amazing and very thorough course that includes several hours of instruction in short videos of a few minutes each. Given the option, I would gladly award more than 5 stars.

Matthew is simply amazing. His approach is aswesome, the content is broken down and simplified, his delivery and enunciation is very clear and understandable unlike some other boring DAW tutorials and I look forward for more from Matthew.

Matthew Loel T. Hepworth not only has the coolest name in the world but is honestly one of the best tutorial guides around! He's seriously amazing for guiding you through step by step. If I had three thumbs I'd give him three thumbs up but thank God I don't have three thumbs...that would be weird.

Matthew is a conscientious and organized educator. I'm using this tutorial with Cubase 6. It's just fine for me! It is helping me with all of the ins & outs of setting up and virtually all of the 'how to' questions I have are being answered.
