The perfect topic to begin the "AudioPedia". Connecting hearing with basic audio concepts (frequency = pitch for example) helps ground their meanings in experience. Also showing the relationships between the different sound level measuring systems was very interesting. Whatever your role, if you work with sound, this video provides an excellent foundation of basic concepts.

Joe is great! I watched his course on SoundToys plug-ins and I felt like I got so much useful insight, in addition to how to use the plug-ins, that I made a mental note, and am now going through all of his tutorials that apply to me and my work.

Great course for understanding sound and how it relates. Joe Albano has a great way of explaining complex subjects in a clear, understandable fashion that makes these courses enjoyable.

I watched a couple of the videos and there is good info there but it's all pretty much covered in detail in Joe Albano's Audio Concepts series. Since I already have downloaded that one, I'll pass on this other than to check out individual videos if I'm looking for info on a particular subject. Otherwise, it's well done as Joe's tutorials usually are.
