Along the way, Siobhan teaches you how to prepare, rough out and clean up your layout in preparation for adding color to your scene.
In the Coloring stages, not only does she give you color ideas, but using Adobe Photoshop, she also shows you how to make the best use of the Selection, Pen and Brush Tools to accomplish specific tasks that each tool is best suited for. As she progresses through the project, Siobhan also teaches you the importance of drawing on layers to stay organized.
Once the coloring is done, she takes everything one step further to give the project the truly professional look you are used to seeing in Films and TV. In this section, Siobhan teaches you how to add Textures, Shading and Highlights. These are the kinds of pro touches that will take your project from great to truly outstanding!

You make it look easy eventhough I'm sure it isn't! Interesting and well informed.

With the many paid and free tutorial sites on the internet difficulty arises determining value. With free video one watches someone perform what you could do yourself through trial and error, and I suppose familiarity is gathered. Paid sites such as this can offer a personal perspective of a tip or technique from the author of a product or skill not found in a walk through video. Rarely do I watch a video and the author has made a mistake and then explains the steps to rectify the situation. These are the better tutorial videos.
From this video I listened to the thoughts of a professional graphic designer as she went through the process of creating background scene. Background scenery is what has been on my mind recently, so the title and subject synched. Call this a good or bad video isn't warranted; it's simply what was on my mind at this point in time. Glad I watched and listened.
