hi, im tryin to seperate a midi drum part so i can change some settings on this, i no im meant to go to midi-seperte midi events-seperate note pitch! but im not offered that option! im goin through the drop down midi tab in the arrange area inbetween region and audio. is this correct and if so what do i do??

thanks for the reply! is that the same in logic 8? cause when i go to midi i dont get the option to seperate events. i am using the right midi path, the one in the arrange page right?

na nothing like demix there! ill keep checkin though. also sorry to be a pain but do u no of any good tutorial vids to show how to chop up audio for example, the audio says "YOU ARE". i wanna chop it so it repeats you lots and timestretch it gon quicker. if that makes sense cheers

your a superstar mate! it was region/seperate pitch! so now i can eq them all seperate then pack away in a folder when done! yea think ill get the suscrption cause theres a few vids i wanted to check out. and i assume after a few months when im confident to not need them i can cancel anyways

im new to sample packs and not sure wat i should be doin to load them. i have a mutu techno pack with a few folders in, the sampler patches with the exs but only contains a few files, then another folder with the same files and more in wav and the one last folder with a load of wav loops. i assume i drop the sample patches in the exs24 folder via applicationsupport/logic/samplerinstruments but where do the other folders go and how do i view them in logic? drusif

does any one no a good pluggin to make sting instrument sounds? im tryin to create a irish kinda fiddle/violin sound and also want to create a spanish kinda guitar sound? ive played with the insruments in the exs and they dont sound right

im goin for a tech house kinda track. where can i purchase gypsy from and then wat do i do once i bought it, i.e where do i load it to use in logic? not sure about flamence, ill give the gypsy ago first and see how i get on thanks

i bought an audio sample from loopmasters and its a bit quick for my track. ive opened the bpm meter but it wont read it for some reason. do i have to activate it or something?

the loop came 32.5 bars. if i option drag it down to 8 bars will it fit in the i can just loop it where i want. i got a couple of other audio files in the track that i wanted to change but i cant open the time/pitch machine on them. how come? also if i buy some drum hit samples to go with the loomasters audio can i drop them into ultrabeat to arrange them or can i only use pre set hits in there? cheers mate
