Does software count as gear? One of the greatest pieces of software I have seen in a while just got released for Mac. Snapper. I have been using it for over a week now I really don't know how I existed before having this swiss army knife of audio. There is a 100 day demo you can download, so check it out for yourself. There are also some videos up explaining what it does on the company's website. I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but this software is really useful, allowing you to perform tons of audio mayhem right in Mac OS X's finder. I have been having a blast loading up field recordings and ripping little bits out of them and throwing them into Live or Logic's ultrabeat. Here is a link:

Once again, I apologize if this looks like spam, but I think this software is awesome and should prove really useful to anyone working with audio. I also think that if a ton of Logic users start requesting for it, AudioEase may add in some of the additional features that ProTools users of this software have available to them.
