    HUD-Like Question
I've been told that the following can be done in Motion but I am at a loss as to how to go about doing it. Any guidance that would help get me started would be much appreciated. I have two different scenarios where each would show dynamic measurements. Here's the first scenario: Let's say the footage is an overhead shot of a car traveling down a one-lane road. I would like to show the distance between the left edge of the car to the left edge of the road AND the distance between the right edge of the car to the right edge of the road changing dynamically (on either side overlay of a couple of lines and a third line end-capped with arrows where the third line changes its length?) as the car progresses down the road--in the style of a HUD?. If the description is confusing, let me know and I'll try again. In this case, the footage is an overhead shot of a golfer on the green angling their putter. A line (colored yellow) is drawn from the putter's midpoint to the point the player is targeting (looking at). Also emanating from the midpoint of the putter are two lines: one along the face of the putter (colored blue) and another (colored red) at a 90 degree angle. As the putter is rotated, the blue/red lines rotate as well. Ideally for an accurate shot, the red line would sit on top of the yellow line. As the player rotates the putter, the angle (yellow/red lines) changes and thus what's displayed as a "measurement" in text changes. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers, Quint
