Hi everyone.Just wondering if you could help me: I bought Logic express 8 a month ago, but havent mananged to fully install it sucessfully as it always gives the following error: THERE WERE ERRORS INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE (PLEASE TRY INSTALLING AGAIN) - To which I'd try installing a thousand times all to no avail. Pro-tools installs fine though. My system is : macbook core duo 2ghz(2gb ram) osx 10.4.11

Hi Goatfair & welcome to MacProVideo forums! Have you tried repairing permissions before installation? Go to: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility Select Repair Permissions on your Main HD. If that doesn't work and you have another mac to test the installation on try it. If it still isn't happy you could try contacting apple support and asking for replacement media disks. Just to let you know, when I bought Logic Pro 8 the main installer disk was bad. It took an ungodly ammount of time for Apple to get me a replacement. I would say call Apple sooner than later and get the wheels in motion now. As an additional note, te first guy I talked to at Apple told me to return the disks to the place that I bought them... I asked if he seriously wanted me to try to return open software, he said yes... I asked to speak with someone else immediately. All in all, I normally have had great support from Apple, but the replacement disk just took forever... It may be because Logic had just come out though...
