hi i bought a sample pack from trackitdown - equinox 'electronic art' and it has sample instrument patch data which are compatible with logics sampler EXS24. i followed instructions and copied this patches folder into logics sample instruments folder, however, it wont show up in the EXS24. Any ideas??? many thanks malx

You may be looking in the wrong place... are you looking in the settings menu at the very top of the instrument window, or in the patch list directly over the cutoff knob? Ye i tried refresh and i was looking in the patch list where i have other instruments i have already put there. unfortunately it just wont show up. in the media section - browser it shows up the patch folder and subtitle folders eg patches-exs24-drumloops but then once iv clicked on the drumloops folders then nothing further shows up. iv checked using finder and its definately there on the hard drive and logics sample instruments folder ...

Do any of the files in the folder have a ".exs" after the filename? Are they all just .aiff or .wav files? What exactly did you get? B [url]http://www.myspace.com/nemuriyume[/url]

its says - Unix Executable File. A size for one drumloop is 24KB they advertised these patches as aleady been key-mapped, maybe thats why they have the weird 'Unix Executable File' ???

they dont have an ext next to them i found 'Unix Executable File' in the get info thing.

It sounds to me like there is some sort of issue with the format of the data you received... Or there is an issue with they creator/type code on the files. Since I do not have access to the patches themselves to play around with, I must defer either to someone else who has purchased a product from this company or to trackitdown support, who can be contacted here: [email protected] I would hope that their support is good...
