Yes... it's time dive back into the transformer object! Or, do you mean the transform window... the former is real time and the latter is an "editor" or sorts!

hey steve what i like doing is making songs with instruments like pianos, rhodes or 'traditional' keyboard instruments, so i think it would be cool to add a the humanize affect on the track and changing the velocity rather than just hard quantizing my performance. thankyou for replying:)

That's the Transform window you're interested in then I think as you have non-realtime controls over your midi parts - eg. to alter velocity, humanize the part etc.
Steve, I'm interested in both - but particularly the Transformer object. One of your tutorials on either would be a treat ;-)

The Transform object is an environment object that is used to select, filter, and alter MIDI events in real time.
The Transform window processes midi data (already recorded in a region) via "mathematical values".
